Quantity Surveyor Engineer – Building Projects

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor Engineer with hands-on experience in building construction projects to manage cost estimation, cost control, and contract administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating project costs, preparing accurate BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and ensuring effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project drawings and specifications.

Conduct accurate cost estimation and budgeting for all phases of building projects (residential, commercial, industrial).

Review contract documents, scope of work, and project schedules to identify potential cost risks.

Monitor project costs and identify cost overruns or potential savings.

Prepare and analyze cost reports, material usage, and labor costs.

Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

Process progress claims, variations, and change orders in line with contract terms.

Assist in procurement processes by evaluating tender documents, making recommendations, and negotiating contracts.

Ensure proper documentation of all project-related costs and support in financial reporting.

Liaise with project teams, contractors, and clients to address any discrepancies or queries related to quantities and costs.

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically in building construction projects.

Strong understanding of construction methods, material costs, and project estimation.

Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office (Excel, Word).

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

Knowledge of construction contracts and ability to work with contractual terms, claims, and procurement processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
