Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor/Engineer (Civil or MEP) with 2–3 years of experience to support both pre-contract/tender stage and post-contract activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and commercial skills and be familiar with industry-standard software and FIDIC contract procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract / Tender Stage:

Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in accordance with project requirements.

Assist in cost estimation and pricing of tenders.

Prepare and compile technical submittals and tender documentation.

Coordinate with engineers and suppliers for pricing and technical clarifications.

Post-Contract Stage:

Prepare and evaluate variations / change orders.

Handle payment applications / interim payment certificates.

Maintain project cost control and budgeting.

Assist in contract administration based on FIDIC or similar form of contracts.

Coordinate with site team, consultants, and client representatives.

Software Skills (Required/Preferred):

Primavera (P6)

MS Excel / MS Office

AutoCAD (for take-off review)

Quantity Take-off software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, etc.)

Cost Estimation / BOQ preparation tools

Knowledge of ERP systems (advantage)

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in contracting or consultancy.

Strong understanding of tender procedures and post-contract management.

Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions.

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
