Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cost estimation, budgeting, and tendering processes to ensure accurate and competitive project pricing. This role plays a critical part in project planning, risk assessment, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on technical drawings and project specifications.
• Analyze project requirements, including materials, labor, and time, to provide accurate pricing.
• Participate in tendering processes, including bid review and timely submission of proposals.
• Send material inquiries and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Provide ongoing cost analysis and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation for construction projects.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software is a plus.
