Quantity Surveyor (interior)

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Male Quantity Surveyor (interior) to join our team. The role involves preparing accurate quantity take-offs, evaluating material requirements, monitoring project costs, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2 - 6 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in interior furnishing projects.

Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract management.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and interior design drawings.

Estimate material, labour, and overall project costs accurately.

Update cost estimates based on design changes or variations.

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents for procurement.

Assist in sourcing and evaluating vendors/subcontractors based on cost and quality.

Verify material quantities and prices during procurement.

Conduct regular site visits to verify material consumption and progress.

Measure and validate completed work against BOQ for billing purposes.

Identify variations and update cost implications accordingly.

Prepare interim and final payment certificates.

Maintain proper records of measurements, invoices, and payment schedules.

Generate detailed cost reports, including reconciliation of actual vs. estimated costs.

Assist in preparing claims and variations for client approval.

Preferred Attributes:
Familiarity with interior furnishing materials, finishes, and specifications.
