Quantity Surveyor (Kozhikode, Kerala)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and cash flow forecasts throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop, draft, and negotiate construction contracts, including terms, technical specifications, and deliverables, ensuring all legal and company standards are met
• Conduct thorough contract reviews, highlighting risks, obligations, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements
• Manage the tendering process, including preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), tender documentation, and evaluation for selection of contractors and suppliers
• Oversee project execution to ensure contract scope, quality, schedule, and financial targets are achieved; conduct site visits as required
• Handle and negotiate claims, variations, and disputes, maintaining all necessary documentation for arbitration or dispute resolution
• Monitor, control, and report on project costs, value completed works, and participate in billing, inspections, and approval of payments
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders, acting as a point of contact for all contractual matters
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all project and contract activities for audit and compliance purposes

Educational Qualification & Experience Required

• Candidate must be B. Tech, Civil
• Must have minimum 5 Years Experience in QS & Contracts

Software skills required

• AutoCad, MS Office
