1. Land Measurement and Data Collection

  • Conduct field surveys to measure land features, elevations, and boundaries using instruments like Total Station, GPS, and theodolites.
  • Record and analyze survey data, including distances, angles, and elevations.
  • Prepare topographical maps, contour maps, and site plans for engineering and construction use.

2. Boundary and Property Surveys

  • Determine and mark property boundaries in accordance with legal descriptions and deeds.
  • Resolve boundary disputes through accurate measurement and documentation.
  • Prepare legal survey reports for land registration or transfer purposes.

3. Construction and Engineering Surveys

  • Provide layout and setting out for roads, buildings, bridges, and other structures.
  • Ensure that construction works are executed in the correct position and level according to design drawings.
  • Verify alignment, elevation, and dimensions during all stages of construction.

4. Quantity and Level Calculations

  • Calculate earthwork quantities (cut and fill) for excavation and embankment works.
  • Prepare volume and area calculations for project cost estimation.
  • Assist in preparing quantity take-offs based on survey data for billing and planning.

5. Data Processing and Mapping

  • Process survey data using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or Survey Pro.
  • Create digital terrain models (DTMs) and site contour maps.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of survey results and maps.

6. Coordination and Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure accurate data usage.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to provide input on land and site conditions.
  • Supervise or guide survey assistants or junior surveyors in the field.

7. Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure all survey work complies with local regulations, land laws, and safety standards.
  • Maintain calibration and accuracy of survey instruments.
  • Follow safety protocols during fieldwork, especially in construction or remote areas.

8. Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and submit survey reports, drawings, and documentation to clients and authorities.
  • Keep detailed records of benchmarks, coordinates, and reference points for future use.
  • Assist in as-built surveys to verify completed work against design specifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
