Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor – MEP with 5+ years of experience in managing cost control, estimation, and contract administration for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority regulations, and experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates and BOQs.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Analyze tender documents and prepare pricing.
• Assist in preparing project budgets and cost plans.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare and review subcontract agreements.
• Monitor contract compliance and payment terms.
• Prepare interim payment applications and certifications.
• Evaluate and process subcontractor invoices.
• Manage variation orders and claims.
• Assist in procurement of MEP materials and subcontractors.
• Compare supplier quotations (technical & commercial).
• Ensure materials comply with project specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams.
• Assist in procurement of MEP materials and subcontractors.
• Compare supplier quotations (technical & commercial).
• Ensure materials comply with project specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams.
• Experience with high-rise or large commercial projects.
• Knowledge of UAE authority requirements (DEWA, Civil Defense, Municipality).
• Experience in handling claims and dispute resolution.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera/MS Project).
