Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Quantity Surveyor
with
6–8 years of post-contract experience
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with consultants, cost consultants, or developers in the UAE, with strong knowledge of local contracts, regulations, and market practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage post-contract quantity surveying activities across various projects.

Prepare and review interim payment applications and support certification of payments to contractors.

Conduct cost control, monitoring, and reporting throughout project life cycles.

Assess variations, change orders, and provide commercial advice to the project team.

Evaluate claims, prepare recommendations, and support dispute resolution if required.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders on contractual matters.

Prepare and manage final accounts and project close-out documentation.

Ensure compliance with contract terms, procurement guidelines, and local regulations.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Skills

6–8 years of relevant post-contract experience in the UAE.

Experience working with consultants, cost consultants, or developers is essential.

Strong knowledge of FIDIC, UAE construction laws, and contract administration.

Proficient in cost reporting, payment certifications, and variation assessments.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Familiarity with quantity surveying software and tools (e.g., CostX, Excel, etc.).

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Experience across a variety of project types (residential, commercial, infrastructure).
-
Membership in RICS or an equivalent professional body is an advantage.
