Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Job Description

Position Overview:
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to construction and fit-out projects, from initial estimation to final accounts. The role ensures value for money while maintaining quality, compliance, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:1. Cost Estimation & Budgeting

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets based on drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for architectural, structural, MEP, and finishing works.
• Provide cost advice and value-engineering options to optimize project expenses.

2. Tendering & Procurement

• Prepare tender documents, RFQs, and compare quotations.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, including technical and commercial reviews.
• Assist in negotiations and awarding of contracts.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: QAR49,294.67 - QAR59,365.62 per year
