Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Reports To: Commercial Manager / Project Manager
Location: Holding Group of Companies (Multiple Project Sites)
Job Summary
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all cost and contract-related aspects across the group’s construction and development projects. This role ensures cost efficiency, accurate budgeting, contract compliance, and effective financial control from project initiation to completion.
Key ResponsibilitiesCost Management & Estimation
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning for new projects within the group.
- Evaluate design changes and assess the impact on cost.
- Monitor project budgets and prepare cost forecasts.
Contract & Procurement
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and subcontracts.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and industry standards.
- Manage procurement schedules and verify quantities and material usage.
Project Financial Control
- Conduct regular site measurements and verify work completion.
- Prepare interim payment applications and certifications.
- Track project variations, claims, and change orders; maintain proper documentation.
- Analyze project costs and provide monthly cost reports for management.
Risk, Compliance & Documentation
- Identify potential cost risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and commercial documentation.
- Support audits, internal reviews, and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure adherence to legal, contractual, and safety requirements.
Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and finance teams.
- Attend progress meetings and provide commercial updates.
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience (holding group experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC or equivalent).
- Proficient in cost estimation, QS software, and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, infrastructure, or mixed-use projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, CostX, Primavera, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Multilingual ability is beneficial.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
