Quantity Surveyor (Revit Experience)

GCI Contracting (under LEOS Developments) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing villa and mid-rise residential building projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong commercial, cost control, and contract management experience within reputable contracting companies in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage BOQs, cost estimates, tender packages, and commercial documentation.
• Review IFC drawings and extract accurate quantities for tendering, procurement, and execution.
• Analyze subcontractor quotations and prepare commercial comparison sheets for award recommendations.
• Prepare and review interim valuations, subcontractor payment certificates, variation claims, and final accounts.
• Track and document variations, prepare claims with supporting documentation, and submit for consultant/client approval.
• Assist procurement with material take-offs, budget allocations, and package finalization.
• Monitor project costs and prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete analysis.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure works align with contractual requirements and budget constraints.
• Maintain and update cost logs, correspondence, and commercial records.
• Support contract administration and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong understanding of residential construction cost control (villas & buildings).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with consultants and subcontractors.
• Proficient in cost estimation, BOQ measurements, and commercial reporting.
• Strong command of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity measurement software (CostX, Candy preferred).
• BIM/Revit exposure is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Minimum 8–15 years of UAE experience within contracting (preferably villas and Buildings construction)
