Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out (SOR & Musanada Specialist)

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with hands-on experience in interior fit-out projects and a strong command of Schedule of Rates (SOR) and the Musanada Standard Schedule of Rates Book.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage BOQs, cost plans, and budgets for interior fit-out works (joinery, drylining, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, MEP finishes)
• Apply and interpret the Musanada Book for pricing, benchmarking, and cost verification
• Develop and maintain project-specific Schedules of Rates with full rate build-ups (labour, material, plant, O&P)
• Evaluate tenders and validate contractor rates against SOR benchmarks
• Value and certify interim payments and final accounts
• Manage variations and change orders including scope identification, rate negotiation, and formal processing
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete updates
• Support procurement, contract administration, and claims/dispute resolution

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; MRICS or working towards it is a plus
• Proven experience in interior fit-out QS in the UAE, with direct exposure to Abu Dhabi government or semi-government projects under the Musanada framework
• Proficient in CostX, Candy, or similar QS software and Excel-based BOQ management
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC or GCC-form contracts
• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
