Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator who can manage project costs from inception to completion, focusing on detailed estimation, BOQ preparation, and cost control for fit-out projects.

Key duties include analyzing drawings, conducting material take-offs, negotiating with subcontractors, and managing variations to ensure profitability.

• Estimation & Tender Preparation: Prepare accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and material take-offs for interior fit-out projects (joinery, finishes, MEP).
• Cost Control & Monitoring: Monitor project progress and expenditure against the approved budget, managing variations and potential cost overruns.
• Procurement & Negotiation: Source, evaluate, and negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Collaboration: Work with designers, project managers, and site teams to align on design specs and cost-effective solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 2–5 years in interior fit-out/construction.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior materials, labor rates, and building regulations.
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design.
