RAC Engineer (Medical Equipment)

We are seeking a skilled RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) Engineer specializing in medical equipment like Deep Freezers, Ultra Low Temperature Deep Freezers, Laboratory Refrigerators, Incubators, and other cold chain devices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of these temperature-controlled medical equipment ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain Deep Freezers (-20°C to -40°C), Ultra Low Temperature Deep Freezers (-80°C), Laboratory Refrigerators, and Incubators used in medical and laboratory settings.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance validation of medical RAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in temperature control systems, ensuring data integrity and equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CDSCO, WHO guidelines for medical equipment in India).
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams for equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Maintain service records, calibration logs, and documentation as per regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Ensure safety and energy efficiency of medical RAC equipment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in servicing medical refrigeration equipment.
• Expertise in temperature control systems, cryogenic applications, and ultra-low temperature equipment.
• Knowledge of medical device regulations in India (CDSCO) and international standards (ISO 13485).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex medical RAC systems.
• Experience with validation/qualification of medical equipment.
• Training will be given at Nashik and onsite

Desired Skills

• Experience with -80°C ultra-low freezers and cryopreservation systems.
• Knowledge of blood bank equipment and vaccine storage systems.
• Certifications in RAC services or medical equipment maintenance beneficial
• Awareness of cold chain management practices.
• Ready to tavel across India ( allowances will be paid)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
