Job Description:

Focusing on Intermountain's Fundamentals of Care, the Radiation Oncology Center Manager is responsible for managing day to day operations and ensuring that excellent patient care is provided. This includes developing, managing, and achieving budgetary and financial objectives, quality improvement initiatives, service line development, and personnel management. This position works closely with Service Line Leadership, Providers and other Caregivers to ensure the highest value sub-specialty care.

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiation Oncology Operations Manager to oversee our geographically linked Radiation Centers in Utah Valley, American Fork, Saratoga and Park City, driving excellence in patient care, operational performance, and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive operational success across multiple locations, aligning with system-wide goals and budgets.
  • Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage operational and capital budgets, oversee purchasing, and ensure financial compliance.
  • Team & Talent Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and engagement initiatives to build a high-performing team.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and accrediting body standards.
  • Technology & Information Systems: Optimize billing, coding, and IT systems to support efficient and compliant operations.
  • Clinical Excellence: Champion patient-centered care, quality improvement, and service recovery initiatives.
  • Facility Operations: Maintain safe, functional, and welcoming environments across all assigned centers.
  • Revenue Cycle Management: Support accurate registration, coding, and collections practices to enhance financial performance.
  • Innovation & Community Engagement: Lead marketing efforts, support educational partnerships, and promote positive public relations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
  • Proven experience in budget development and management
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in Business or Health Administration
  • Registered Radiation Therapist (ARRT)
  • Experience in Oncology Services

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$50.97 - $78.69
