Radiation Protection Officer (Industrial)

ACTS Qatar is currently looking to hire a Radiation Protection Officer (Industrial) with the following Qualifications & Experience;

• Act as the company’s appointed RPO as per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain all required radiation safety records (dose records, equipment calibrations, source inventory, transport logs, etc.)
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and transport of radioactive sources and radiation-generating equipment (e.g., industrial radiography cameras, gauges).
• Provide radiation safety training and refreshers to staff and contractors.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of reports, licensing renewals, and compliance audits.
• Supervise the proper use and calibration of personal dosimeters and radiation detection instruments
• Certification/approval as a Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) from the relevant national regulatory authority (mandatory).
• Holding a valid RPO license from the MECC, Qatar
