Radiologic Technologist - RAD TECH - 1 Day Event - Large C-arm at a Bio-Skills Lab

LARGE C -ARM Techs!!! We need a Rad Tech to help at a "Hip Fracture Lab" cadaver Training Lab for a surgical training Event Located at:

Marriott Center 112 washington Place Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

March 25 from 4:30 -8pm.. we will have a GE 9800, table, lead and just need a knowledgeable Rad Tech to run the equipment!

The Implant Manufacture (Curvafix) will be doing surgeon training and I will give you all the details when we talk live. We will have a 12" Large C-arms, GE or Ziehm, on site at the facility.

We need an ortho experienced rad tech to run this Large C during the lab times and we will deliver the equipment That morning and pick it up that evening.

Easy event to make some side hustle $.. this should be 4 hour training but will have breaks and a couple different sessions. We have other events across the country and could lead to other things with the right candidate! We get frequent requests for the Chicago area and could be an opportunity for additional 1099 jobs down the road too...

This event pays $500 for the lab.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. Duties

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including Large C-Arms
  • Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret medical imaging results.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in the radiology department.
  • Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Experience in Orthopedics
  • Familiarity with hip Anatomy - inlet, outlet, AP and Inlet Oblique views
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Previous experience in the OR preferred..
