Radiology APP - Ball Memorial Hospital - Indiana University Health Medical Group, Muncie, IN

Ball Memorial Hospital with Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Radiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our collaborative Radiology team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization committed to delivering exceptional radiologic care to the Muncie community.

Our Radiology department is built on a team-based model, where APPs, Radiologists, technologists, and support staff work together to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
  • Participate in care coordination, follow-up planning, and communication with referring providers.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic imaging and lab tests.
  • Assisting with radiology procedures as appropriate
  • Providing pre and post procedure patient education
  • Procedures Performed
    • GI Fluoro
    • Thoracentesis
    • Paracentesis
    • Joint injection / asp
    • Lumbar punctures
    • biopsies

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Current NP or PA certification and eligibility for Indiana licensure
  • Prior experience in radiology, acute care, or procedural specialties preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate, respectful patient care.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Healthcare System/Hospital Description

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is a 379-bed hospital and is designated as a level 3 trauma center. It is both a teaching hospital and a regional tertiary referral center. Over the last decade, the hospital has undergone a $130 million remodel. Since the early 1980s, physicians and staff members have been actively involved in national and international medical research studies, particularly in the areas of oncology, cardiology and coagulation.
