Why does the job exist?
The Radiology Manager at Miners' Colfax Medical Center is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the effective planning, organization, and coordination of all medical imaging services. This working manager position ensures the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate diagnostic imaging and patient care, consistent with MCMC's mission to provide modern advanced healthcare close to home. The manager will oversee all functions of the medical imaging department, including x-ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI services, and ensure adherence to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
How does it get done?
This position will ensure adherence to Miners' Colfax Medical Center policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that all patient care provided is safe and of quality nature.

Minimum Qualification
Radiographic Radiologic Technologist R.T. (R)(ARRT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by State of New Mexico and two (2) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field above licensure requirements and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.

Working Conditions
This is a dynamic fast-paced environment that requires a mix of administrative tasks and active presence within imaging suites to monitor operations and address issues. The manager will interact constantly with technologists, radiologists, nurses and administrative staff. As a smaller, community-focused CAH, the Role requires a hands-on approach and flexibility to address the diverse needs of the facility and community.
