Radiology Technician - Manipal Hospital, Mysore

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring proper positioning.
• Operate imaging equipment (e.g., X-ray, CT, or MRI machines) in a safe and accurate manner.
• Follow physician orders precisely and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulations to protect patients, staff, and themselves.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any unusual reactions.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient data.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to evaluate images and determine if additional imaging is needed.
• Assist in maintaining supplies and managing inventory for the radiology department.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
