Job Description: Perform diagnostic radiographs, daily maintenance of x-ray equipment and room, daily maintenance of x-ray film processor and handles processing of radiology requests, radiology reports and x-ray films, and ensure strict compliance with applicable clinic rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for radiological procedures by positioning the patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into the correct position, and setting exposure factors.
• Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and explaining treatments; answers questions.
• Minimizes radiation exposure to patients and staff by applying radiation protection techniques, using beam-restrictive devices, patient shielding, and understanding exposure factors.
• Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; develops radiographs; observes radiographic results; makes necessary adjustments.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.

Job Requirements Education

• Bachelor's degree in Applied Medical Science - Radiology section

Experience

• 2 years of practical experience following graduation
