Duties

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install railings and balconies according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation
• Coordinate with project managers, construction management teams, and other trades such as plumbing, electrical, masonry, or carpentry to ensure seamless project flow
• Conduct site inspections to verify safety standards and quality control during installation processes
• Apply finishing techniques including caulking, plastering, trimming, or painting to achieve a polished look
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
• Experience with various construction trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), Drilling, Anchoring, Elevated platforms, glazing (glass installation), cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring (tile laying), and welding
• Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., drills, saws), power tools (e.g., grinders, sanders), and heavy equipment operation when necessary
• Knowledge of construction management practices and inspection procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Ability to perform construction site tasks such as restoration work, fixture installation, and remodeling projects
• Familiarity with caulking techniques for weatherproofing and sealing joints
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights on balconies or elevated structures

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
