Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Ranch Hand to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of livestock, managing farm equipment, and supporting daily ranch operations. Responsibilities

• Care for and handle livestock, including feeding, watering, grooming, and monitoring health status with attention to animal husbandry standards.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, plows, and irrigation systems to support planting, harvesting, and land management.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical skills.
• Assist with fencing, corrals, and shelter construction or repairs to ensure secure enclosures for animals.
• Support planting, growing, and harvesting activities in fields or greenhouses, utilizing horticultural knowledge and irrigation systems.
• Conduct heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely during daily tasks to optimize productivity.
• Supervise or collaborate with other team members on tasks related to animal care, equipment operation, or land management.

Skills

• Proven supervising experience in agricultural or ranch settings with the ability to lead by example.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing farm machinery and equipment.
• Extensive animal husbandry skills including animal handling, care routines, and health monitoring.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, heavy machinery, power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment.
• Experience working with equines (horses) as well as other livestock species.
• Knowledge of farming practices such as crop growing, irrigation systems, greenhouse management, and horticulture techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for outdoor work environments.
