Rate Negotiation Executive – Logistics

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Ocean Freight Pricing (FCL / LCL) for export and import shipments.
  • Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, carriers, and NVOCC partners.
  • Prepare and manage RFQs, spot rates, contract pricing, and tariff updates.
  • Conduct rate benchmarking, competitor analysis, and wallet share assessment.
  • Monitor global market trends, trade lane fluctuations, and freight index movements.
  • Support Sales and Key Account teams with competitive quotations and margin analysis.
  • Maintain pricing database, rate sheets, and MIS reports using MS Excel.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Documentation, and Overseas Agents for pricing feasibility.
  • Ensure profitability through cost analysis and pricing strategy implementation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 1–5 years of experience in Sea Freight Forwarding / NVOCC Pricing.
  • Strong knowledge of Ocean Freight operations, carrier management, and global trade lanes.
  • Experience in RFQ handling, rate negotiation, and contract pricing.
  • Good understanding of competitor pricing strategy and market intelligence.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
