RCM Specialist/Medical Biller

We are looking for a highly dependable and punctual Revenue Cycle
Management (RCM) team of four individuals to handle critical tasks within
the organization's revenue cycle. The ideal candidates will have strong
mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a
fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role requires precision and a
proactive approach to managing billing, payments, and accounts receivable

Key Responsibilities:
1. Billing and Claims Processing:
○ Review, verify, and accurately code claims for submission to insurance
companies and third-party payers.
○ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for accurate
billing.
2. Payment Posting and Reconciliation:
○ Accurately post payments from insurers and patients into the system.
○ Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial records and resolve
discrepancies promptly.
3. Aging and Denial Management:
○ Monitor and manage accounts receivable, following up on unpaid claims.
○ Investigate and resolve denied claims by submitting appeals and necessary
documentation.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
○ Analyze revenue cycle data for trends, errors, or inefficiencies.
○ Generate and interpret reports to monitor billing performance, aging reports,
and collection progress.
5. Customer Service and Communication:
○ Provide clear explanations for billing issues and work to resolve discrepancies
efficiently.
6. Compliance and Accuracy:
○ Ensure all revenue cycle processes comply with regulatory standards and
internal procedures.
○ Maintain data integrity and accuracy in all financial records

Education:
● High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
field preferred.
Experience:● Minimum of 1 year experience in revenue cycle management, billing, or finance.
● Dental background a plus but not required (knowledge of dental anatomy, dental
terminology, and dental procedures preferred)

Skills:
● Strong proficiency in mathematics and data analysis.
● Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced) and billing software.
● High attention to detail and accuracy.
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies.
● Good communication skills for customer service and team collaboration.
