R&D and EHS – Regulatory & Legal Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a professional with a strong background in Research & Development and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), combined with expertise in licensing, regulatory frameworks, and legal compliance. The role requires ensuring all R&D operations comply with local, national, and international regulatory requirements, while also driving innovation and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure R&D projects and EHS practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and licenses.
• Manage regulatory submissions, approvals, and renewals related to R&D and EHS operations.
• Liaise with legal authorities, government bodies, and regulatory agencies for licensing and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and maintain legal documentation, policies, and compliance records.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Provide guidance to R&D teams on ethical, regulatory, and legal considerations in product development.
• Develop and implement compliance training programs for R&D and EHS teams.
• Support the company in litigation, dispute resolution, and legal advisory related to EHS and regulatory matters.
• Keep track of emerging laws, regulatory changes, and compliance trends that impact R&D and EHS functions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in Research & Development, EHS management, and regulatory/legal compliance.
• Strong knowledge of licensing requirements, regulatory frameworks, and environmental laws.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including R&D, operations, and legal departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
