Role Overview

We are hiring an R&D Engineer (Tracker & Navigation Systems) to lead the design, development, and validation of telematics hardware for GPS tracking, navigation, and IoT-based fleet solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hardware design expertise, debugging capability, and hands-on experience with GPS/GNSS, GSM/LTE, and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and validate GPS/GNSS-based tracking and navigation devices.
• Integrate GSM/LTE, CAN Bus, and communication modules into embedded systems.
• Conduct hardware testing, EMI/EMC validation, and real-world performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot and optimize firmware-hardware interaction to ensure stable connectivity.
• Evaluate and certify trackers, sensors, and vendor hardware platforms.
• Perform field testing, data logging, and signal strength analysis for accuracy tuning.
• Collaborate with Software, QA, and Field Operations teams for product enhancement.
• Maintain R&D documentation, test records, and change-control logs.
• Provide technical training and contribute to SOP and best-practice development.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong understanding of GPS/GNSS, GSM/LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth communication systems.
• Experience in PCB design, circuit analysis, RF layout optimization.
• Familiarity with CAN Bus, RS-232, RS-485, I2C, SPI interfaces.
• Basic knowledge of MCU programming (STM32, ESP32, etc.).
• Skilled in using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, GNSS simulators.
• Knowledge of power management, antenna tuning, signal integrity.

Preferred / Bonus Experience

• Experience in vehicle telematics or fleet tracking devices.
• Hands-on with FMB, Queclink, Concox or similar tracker platforms.
• Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP).
