Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of analytical and process development scientists.
- Perform method development, validation, and analytical interpretation (HPLC, GC, NMR, MS).
- Conduct process optimization and scale-up activities from lab to pilot plant.
- Ensure effective technology transfer to manufacturing teams.
- Identify and resolve process/impurity-related challenges; propose cost-efficient solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and regulatory-compliant data records.
- Ensure adherence to lab safety standards and confidentiality protocols.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with production, quality, procurement, and project teams.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with 3–5 years of relevant experience
- OR M.Sc. in Chemistry with 12–15 years of industry experience.
- Strong background in agrochemical R&D or process development.
- Proficiency with analytical tools and scientific literature search platforms.
- Experience in scale-up, purification strategies, impurity profiling, and cost analysis.
