Qualification:
B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E - Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, Production, Electrical &/ Electronics Engineering.
Specific knowledge:
Core responsibilities
Conduct hazard and risk analyses (HARA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and fault tree analysis (FTA).
Define and document functional and technical safety requirements, and ensure their implementation throughout the product lifecycle.
Implement and monitor the functional safety process based on standards like ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
Prepare all necessary safety documentation and the safety case, ensuring evidence of compliance is maintained.
Work with R&D, hardware, software, and system engineering teams, as well as customers, to align on safety goals and requirements.
Mentor and guide other team members on functional safety principles and activities.
Key skills and experience
Competency improvement:
a) Drive collaboration across MBRDI with BTVs, CAx, PDM and MO engineers in the identified.
Domain/ assembly line planning; must be demonstrated by project deliveries.
b) Proficient knowledge in integration touch points across all areas of knowledge such as
Styling, Design, CAE, CAX and Manufacturing, to ensure Satisfactory deliveries.
c) Take complete ownership of the tasks and follows up.
d) Ideas/Innovation/ Customization of the tools development process.
