R&D/PRODUCT DVL ENGINEER I

At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future. Your role as a New Grad (Full Time) hire in the Energy Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:

  • Focus on the design, simulation, prototyping, and verification-validation testing of solar connectors and wiring harnesses.
  • Conceive novel ideas for technologies and products and introduce them into practice.
  • Partner with functions across the business to shape the future of our renewable energy portfolio.

Responsibilities

At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll:

  • Utilize PTC Creo to create TE Energy connector products using metallic and polymeric materials
  • Prototype new concepts and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Prepare and execute design verification test plans, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, etc.
  • Be a strong technical partner and provide support to the Product Management and Operations teams

You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:

  • Have earned a high school diploma or GED
  • Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Related Major from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $71,300 – $107,000/year (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
