Real Estate Finance Associate

Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Minneapolis, MN office for a Real Estate Finance Associate with one to three years of experience. Recent graduates with an interest in real estate law are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have experience representing lenders in a broad range of real estate transactions, financing, and development issues. This role presents an opportunity to work on high-impact real estate deals with experienced attorneys and top-tier clients in a supportive environment, while gaining exposure to complex transactions that will accelerate your career growth and development. Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.

• Experience in sophisticated real estate transactions is preferred.

• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

Visual Acuity

• Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary range for this position applies to Minnesota. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $200,000 to $217,500 in Minnesota.
