Real Estate Paralegal

Prominent NYC Real Estate law firm seeks experienced real-estate/banking paralegal.

Responsibilities:

• Working with mortgage lenders in purchase and refinance transactions, including coops, CEMAs, home equities, etc.
• Preparing CD’s and closing documents
• Title review/clearance
• Conduct Remote Online Notarization (RON) closings and, occasionally, in-person closings at our office or in close proximity to the office

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of residential real estate experience (banking paralegal experience preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and adapt to fast changing circumstances
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail and results-oriented
• Proficiency in settlement software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Willingness to undergo a background check

Licenses/Certifications & Education:

• New York Notary Public License (Required); Note: Must be willing to obtain or update to Electronic Notary Public License.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm – IN-PERSON ONLY.

Salary Range:

• $60,000 - $90,000 (Salary commensurate with experience)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
