We are seeking an experienced Real Estate & Property Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant practice to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle a broad range of real estate matters, including transactions, leasing, property disputes, contract drafting, and due diligence. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, confident in negotiation, and comfortable managing cases from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, purchase agreements, leases, and related documentation
- Represent clients in real estate closings, property disputes, and negotiations
- Conduct title reviews, zoning research, and property due diligence
- Advise clients on real estate law, property rights, land use, and regulatory compliance
- Manage transactional and litigation matters with minimal supervision
- Work collaboratively with brokers, lenders, investors, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure timely communication with clients
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in [State] (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate and property law
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions, contracts, and regulations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with commercial real estate
- Litigation experience (property disputes, landlord/tenant, etc.)
- Knowledge of zoning, land use, and development laws
- Familiarity with title insurance and escrow processes
