Real Estate Regulatory Specialist

Role Overview

We are hiring experienced Real Estate Regulatory Specialists to join a government regulatory supervision and compliance function in the UAE. This role is intended for professionals with direct, hands‑on experience working within a Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) or an equivalent government regulatory body.

The position is regulator‑side, focusing on supervision, inspections, audits, enforcement, and compliance oversight of real estate market participants. This is not an advisory, consultancy, or private‑sector compliance role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regulatory supervision activities including on‑site inspections, desk‑based reviews, audits, and compliance assessments of licensed real estate developers, brokers, and related entities.
• Ensure market participants operate in full compliance with real estate laws, regulations, circulars, and regulatory frameworks issued by the Authority.
• Identify, assess, and document regulatory breaches, non‑compliance issues, and systemic market risks, and recommend corrective or enforcement actions.
• Prepare formal regulatory reports, inspection findings, and compliance assessments for internal committees and senior regulatory leadership.
• Monitor remediation and corrective action plans, ensuring timely and effective closure of identified compliance gaps.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of supervisory frameworks, inspection methodologies, and compliance assessment tools.
• Support enforcement actions by providing structured regulatory analysis, documentation, and evidence aligned with legal and procedural requirements.
• Engage professionally with regulated entities during inspections and reviews while maintaining the Authority’s supervisory mandate, objectivity, and independence.

Key RequirementsMandatory Experience

• 6 to 15 years of direct experience working within a Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) or an equivalent government regulatory body.
• Proven experience in a Supervision, Inspection, or Compliance Enforcement function, acting on behalf of the regulator.
