RECALL CLAIMS CODER

Job Title: Recall Claims Coder

Department: Production

Reports To: Warranty Administration Team Manager

Position Summary:

The Recall Claims Coder is responsible for the timely and accurate entry of data into Dealer Management Systems and Manufacturer Systems for recall campaigns and maintenance claims. They are responsible for coding all claims that are available and accurately completed by the customer, questioning inconsistencies, and following up on delays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify received repair order against information in the dealership’s Dealer

Management Systems (DMS) to prepare for claim submission and completion.

• Maintain positive communication and interactions with staff at WPI.
• Respond to communications timely and within WPI expectations.
• Communicate training or resources needed as required to execute responsibilities efficiently.
• Self-Report all issues identified.
• Review repair orders for accuracy, communicating any inconsistencies noted with customers as necessary.
• Follow WPI Policy and Procedures for all claim handling.
• Works closely with the WPI Team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Good communication and attention to detail skills
• Proficient or ability to learn new computer systems
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Sound reasoning and math skills
