Receiver

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiver to join our logistics team at Ada's Natural Market. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our inventory management processes run smoothly, accurately tracking incoming shipments and maintaining optimal stock levels. Your expertise will help us deliver quality products to our customers efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Document and report any discrepancies or damages in a timely manner.

Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues related to received goods.

Maintain accurate inventory records, updating the inventory management system to reflect current stock levels.

Support the organization of the warehouse by categorizing and storing received items appropriately.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a receiving or inventory management role.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).

Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.

Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

Familiarity with inventory management software and databases.

Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.

Basic knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
