Receiving Clerk

General Information

Spitzer, a recognized industry leader in designing and fabricating high-specification equipment, is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk to join our team.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Receiving Clerk Look Like?

• • Process all receiving documentation on incoming shipments throughout the day.
  • Ensure documentation of received material is correct.
  • Receive checked/verified material into SAGE 100 (MAS) operating system on a daily basis
  • Alert Purchasing/Supplier/Project Manager of any receiving discrepancies on material quantities, back orders, and/or descriptions (Receiving Log)
  • Updates and maintains Receiving Log on a daily basis
  • Schedule, update and manage the daily Receiving Schedule on all inbound deliveries from suppliers
  • Scans all receiving paperwork into the Daily Receiving Folder (Accounting) and corresponding department/job folders
  • Communicate with all levels of Shop and Office Personnel on received material
  • Assists Accounts Payable in resolving problem invoices
  • Updates HOT board on incoming critical material as communicated by Purchasing/Project Management/Shop.
  • Enters warehouse requisitions for needed suppliers and tools
  • Perform assigned duties and responsibilities according to Company requirements and procedures as directed by Supervisor.
  • Assists other departments as needed.
  • Complies with all HSE regulations and requirements.
  • Understands and follows safety policies and procedures.

Skills (to Pay the Bills)

Here's a list of a few competencies that the Receiving Clerk at Spitzer should have…

• • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Knowledge of engineering, oil field, and commercial terminology is desirable.
  • Familiar with use of MS Office® software and SAGE 100 (MAS).

Work Schedule

Spitzer currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday with overtime on weekend work as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
