Receiving Clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments. Your expertise will ensure that all goods are accurately received, properly stored, and seamlessly integrated into our inventory system. Responsibilities

• Use warehouse management systems (WMS)(SAP) to record received items promptly and accurately.
• Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies; document any issues and communicate with suppliers or supervisors as needed.
• Organize and stock received inventory in designated warehouse locations, utilizing proper packaging and labeling techniques.
• Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing items for outbound shipping to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain detailed records of inbound shipments, unload logs, and inventory updates using systems such as AS400 or MRP software.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during receipt processes.
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes such as stocking, order fulfillment, picking & packing.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
