Key Responsibilities:
- Resident & Visitor Support:
- Greet residents, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist with resident check-in/check-out, room allocation, and key issuance.
- Provide information about camp rules, schedules, and available facilities.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate departments or staff as needed.
- Record-Keeping & Administration:
- Maintain accurate daily records of resident movements, visitor logs, and ID/passport copies.
- Update room occupancy lists and submit daily reports to the Reception Supervisor.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and organizing reception documentation.
- Facility & Operations Support:
- Report maintenance issues, housekeeping needs, or resident concerns to the Reception Supervisor.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely service requests.
- Help monitor common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to camp regulations.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce camp entry/exit policies and ensure visitor passes are issued and returned properly.
- Monitor resident compliance with camp rules, including visitor restrictions, noise control, and safety protocols.
- Assist during emergencies by guiding residents, reporting incidents, and following safety procedures.
- Customer Service:
- Address resident inquiries politely and professionally, escalating unresolved issues to the Reception Supervisor.
- Provide translation or language support if required (depending on skills).
- Maintain a professional image as the first point of contact for all visitors and residents in the camp.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in reception, customer service, or administrative roles. Experience in staff accommodation or labour camps is preferred.
- Skills:
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with camp management systems is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi, Arabic, or other languages is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of basic safety and emergency response procedures is preferred.
Work Environment:
- The role is performed in a labour camp or staff accommodation setting, requiring the Reception Attendant to maintain a welcoming, organized, and safe reception environment.
- The position requires flexibility for working shifts, weekends, and public holidays, depending on the operational needs of the camp.
