Reception Class Teacher (EYFS – British Curriculum)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join our Early Years team. You will deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development in a nurturing environment.

This position is only open to candidates with experience in the British National Curriculum

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the EYFS Framework.
  • Support the 7 areas of learning and development through creative activities.
  • Implement child-centered and play-based learning approaches.
  • Observe, assess, and track children’s progress regularly.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Maintain routines and positive behavior expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about children’s progress.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and Early Years staff.
  • Participate in staff meetings, curriculum planning, and school events.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (preferably Early Childhood Education)

OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in another subject with a teaching qualification

Accepted Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Early Years specialization
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education

Teaching Certification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) OR equivalent internationally recognized teaching qualification
  • Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is an advantage

Experience

  • 1–3 years teaching experience in Early Years (ages 3–5)
  • Experience in a British Curriculum school is preferred

  • Support for social, emotional, and language development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents

Preference

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
