Reception/ Hotel background

We are hiring for Receptionist with Hotel Background/Experience for our hospital in Abu dhabi

  • Greet and check in patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, coordinating with healthcare providers as needed.
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records accurately in the system.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide basic information regarding services, payments, and general facility information.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for patient records, forms, and other essential documents.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and processing insurance claims.
  • Ensure waiting areas and reception areas are clean, orderly, and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient flow and coordination of care.
  • Follow all established protocols and procedures to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using computer software and electronic health records

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • hotel industry: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: In person
