Receptionist

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the front office by providing professional and friendly service to all guests, handling check-ins/outs, managing reservations, and addressing guest needs promptly.

Guest Handling

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Provide information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.

Reservation Management

  • Handle reservations via phone, email, or in person.
  • Update room availability and rates in the Hotel Management System.

Cashiering and Billing

  • Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Balance cash and credit transactions at the end of the shift.

Communication

  • Liaise with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, F&B) to fulfill guest requests.
  • Handle incoming calls and redirect them as necessary.

Guest Complaint Resolution

  • Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Front Office Supervisor.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain updates records of bookings, guest preferences, and room status.
  • Prepare daily reports and handovers.

English is must. Arabic Language is a plus. Female or male. Freshers are also welcome.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
