Receptionist

We are looking for a dynamic Receptionist to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis in North Canton, Ohio. This role is designed to provide flexible coverage for vacations, sick days, and occasional special projects. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth daily operations within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
• Answer and manage multi-line switchboard systems to facilitate seamless communication.
• Greet visitors warmly, issue identification badges, and ensure proper sign-in procedures.
• Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain updated records in computer systems.
• Manage schedules and appointments to support efficient calendar organization.
• Assist visitors and staff with inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
• Step in for regular reception duties during planned absences or unexpected situations.
• Collaborate with team members to handle special administrative projects as needed.
• Ensure the reception area remains organized and detail oriented at all times.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
• Strong skills in data entry and computer system navigation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage calendars and appointments effectively.
• Friendly demeanor with a commitment to delivering exceptional visitor experiences.
• Flexibility to work one guaranteed day per week and additional days as needed.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
