Receptionist

We are looking for an organized and personable Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Menlo Park, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist visitors, ensuring a detail-oriented and friendly first impression.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring it remains clean and organized.
• Schedule and prepare meeting rooms, including setting up equipment and materials as needed.
• Provide general administrative support to the team, such as handling correspondence and managing appointments.
• Coordinate deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues with efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with staff and external stakeholders to relay important information.
• Ensure all office supplies are stocked and order replacements when necessary.
• Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in handling inbound calls and directing them appropriately.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with basic office equipment such as phones, printers, and computers.
• Ability to maintain a detail-oriented approach in all interactions.
• High level of reliability and punctuality.
