Position Summary

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, families, referral sources, and visitors. This role supports administrative operations while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a DBHDS-licensed treatment setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors professionally.
  • Answer phones and manage inbound inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
  • Maintain front-office documentation and logs.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Support administrative and intake processes.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior medical or behavioral health office experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • On-site presence during program operating hours.
  • Ability to respond to clinical and operational needs in real time.
  • Ability to complete administrative and documentation duties.
