Job Description
Safir Doha Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Receptionist / Front Office Agent to join our Front Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out procedures, and assisting guests with their inquiries to create a positive hotel experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information in the hotel system.
- Ensure the reception area is organized and presentable at all times.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Front Office or customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Presentable, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a hotel Front Office.
- Knowledge of PMS systems (Opera or similar) is an advantage.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
