Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, guest-focused, and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our boutique hotel pre-opening team. The Receptionist will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing the service culture and standards of the hotel from the pre-opening stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Handle room reservations, amendments, and cancellations when required.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate guest records and update the Property Management System (PMS).
- Process payments, prepare invoices, and balance daily transactions.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Provide guests with information regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining front office procedures and service standards during the pre-opening phase.
- Ensure the reception area remains organized, professional, and welcoming at all times.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and security protocols.
Requirements
- Male Arab national preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Receptionist or Front Desk Agent in a hotel environment.
- Previous experience in a boutique hotel or upscale hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Good command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with hotel PMS systems is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
