Receptionist (Hospital) – Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction
- Greet patients, visitors, and attendants in a polite and professional manner.
- Assist patients with registration and documentation processes.
- Provide information about hospital services, departments, and procedures.
- Schedule appointments and follow up on patient visits.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain patient records and update files regularly.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Ensure proper filing, data entry, and retrieval of information.
- Manage billing inquiries and help with insurance documentation as needed.
- Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient care.
- Communicate important information to the relevant departments.
- Arrange patient referrals, lab tests, or specialist consultations.
- Customer Service
- Address patient concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Ensure a calm and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Provide assistance in emergency situations by directing patients and guiding them appropriately.
- Compliance & Confidentiality
- Ensure patient privacy and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and health regulations.
- General Support
- Monitor waiting areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Handle minor administrative tasks like ordering supplies or managing schedules.
- Support other staff during peak hours or as needed.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
