The Role
We are supporting an international law firm in the search for a service-driven Receptionist for their Dubai office. This is a busy front-of-house environment that places exceptional emphasis on high-quality guest experience. The firm welcomes candidates from a wide range of customer-facing backgrounds who can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a natural focus on delivering warm, attentive, and detail-oriented service. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for all visitors and will help ensure a seamless guest journey throughout their time in the office. Responsibilities include greeting and hosting guests, anticipating needs, managing a shared reception inbox, handling calls, coordinating with office services, and supporting internal events. The role is suited to individuals who enjoy a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and take pride in delivering excellent service. This firm maintains an active internal events and social culture, with weekly catered lunches, guest vendors, themed activities, and large annual celebrations. The Receptionist plays an important role in supporting these activities and contributing to a welcoming and professional office atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide a warm, professional, and attentive guest experience at reception. 2. Greet, host, and assist visitors, ensuring a smooth and positive interaction. 3. Monitor and respond to the shared reception email inbox. 4. Manage incoming calls, messages, and scheduling enquiries. 5. Coordinate with Office Services Assistants on hospitality tasks and visitor support. 6. Support internal events, social activities, and firmwide hospitality. 7. Perform a variety of ad-hoc tasks in a dynamic environment. 8. Maintain high standards of personal presentation and reception area appearance.
Requirements
1. Open to candidates from any customer-facing background (hospitality, aviation, retail, corporate services, or similar). 2. No prior receptionist or corporate experience required - full training provided. 3. Someone who enjoys guest interaction and delivering a high-quality service experience. 4. Warm, professional communication style with the ability to remain composed during busy periods. 5. Arabic language skills are welcome but not essential. 6. Development opportunities exist for individuals who excel in the role. Working Hours & Expectations 1. Standard hours: 9am–6pm 2. Rotational shifts: 8:30am–5:30pm or 9:30am–6:30pm 3. Flexibility to stay later when visitors remain onsite (e.g., until 9pm occasionally) 4. Occasional weekend work with paid overtime 5. Fully office-based (no remote work) Compensation & Benefits 1.
