I was born and raised right here in Ohio. After graduating from Upper Arlington High School, I went on to earn my degree from the University of Kentucky, but I’ve always loved Columbus and knew it was where I wanted to build my career and raise my family.

I’ve been a State Farm agent since 2008, opening my first office in Galloway and later expanding to Dublin in 2016. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to earn multiple qualifications and achievements, but what matters most is the pride we take in delivering excellent customer service. Our two offices have a combined 13+ years of experience, and we’re dedicated to helping our customers protect what matters most.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Andy Ottney - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries, billing, payments and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
